Previously adapted for the stage at the Poetry Project for the tenth (dir. Fiona Templeton) and twentieth (dir. Chana Porter) anniversaries of the 9/11 attacks, Ron Silliman called ‘The Dust,’ when it was published in 2003, “The first great poetic work to emerge from the trauma of September 11.’’
